In 2004 when exhibition area of ECWATECH exceeded by 40% the level of 2002 many visitors considered that such sectorial trade fair focused on limited industry branches became so big that further growth was difficult to imagine: not so many market players as in Europe, not structured legal framework, etc. For 2006 evolutionary development of ECWATECH was expected. Reality has ruined these predictions and ECWATECH-2006 exhibition area exceeded by 48% the results of 2004.

Of course, it is hard to suppose that such a big event will continue to grow by half every two years, but organizers have all the reasons to admit that the stable growing trend will remain. First of all this supposition is based on the fact that many ECWATECH participants started booking areas for ECWATECH-2008 right after the exhibition 2006 ended. That is the best assessment of exhibition effectiveness.

At ECWATECH-2008 there will be a substantial growth of both individual stands of companies in the exhibition as well as number and the space of national and regional pavilions. It is planned to organize joint stands of Austria, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, The Netherlands, South Korea, Turkey. A big joint stand of Water Environment Federation - WEF (USA) is planned for the exhibition. Many regions of Russia plan to organize their stands. Association "Water-Medicine-Ecology" and Russian Association for Water supply and Water Disposal, a number of other associations and unions are also considering their stands at the exhibition.
